Oh no! my MO(ga)B(a)ILE :(

Image
“..How can you be so dumb! Where the hell was your mind!!” Please don’t get offended! It wasn’t meant for you my dear readers, but for myself. Last week while getting down the cab I lost my mobile. When I realized and came back searching for my phone, it was too late! Samsung Galaxy Y –smartest of all the phones that I’ve used so far, fell off my lap, into the ground and then was taken (or shall I say stolen) away by some desperate soul! :-| In the short span of time – from the very moment ‘she’ opened ‘her’ eyes – ‘she’ became my nearest & dearest gadget! May be that is the reason why I refer ‘her’ not just my MOBILE but my ‘MO(ga)B(a)ILE’… read it as ‘moga  bail’ – which means dearest wife in Konkani! Anyway, I hope you don’t go through this pain! But I am listing few things in case you lose you cell phone. what you need to do, when you lose your mobile phone... especially when you had bought the phone paying a hefty price!  1.        Keep ‘...

Why this conclusion di?

Image
Most often we conclude on certain things that may or may not be right. Chances of such conclusions going wrong is very high especially when they are taken too early or when it was taken without knowing the person or complete matter. Perceptions also go hand in hand and they are highly driven by the views or opinions that we see or hear from others. In most of our case it is something like this: You come across a situation/person >>  you see/hear/read things about it from others >> you add your perceptions based on what you are told >> You conclude What is better approach? You come across a situation/person   >>    you see/hear/read things about it from others >> ANALYZE what you have gathered + THINK about it in different angles >> Then you are in a better position to come into a conclusion and it will be better than the first case. This is however still better than those who create their own stories! I don’t know how do th...

Mr. & Mrs. Padiyar – we are 1 year old now :P

Image
They say - it’s better late than never. So even though we celebrated our one year of ‘official’ togetherness few weeks back (on Apr 25 th ) I have finally decided to pen down something about the most anticipated topic :P It is really amazing how time flies by. I still remember the time when I entered that wedding hall in the morning, a bit nervous yet trying my best not to showcase the same on my face. For a guy who is in his early 25 entering the new phase of life is considered to be a bit early. I mean this is the time when you are gradually settling into life. To be honest, I didn’t have a huge bank balance, had joined a new company just a month ago that too in a new city. Yet, I was ready to take the responsibility of a lifetime! But you know what they say – when it is right, it is right J And today I am glad that I have err... or shall I say WE have successfully completed the first year which can be sometimes trivial. And now I can say - we are quite confident enough of rowing th...

From the Garden of my Mom!

Image
The title sounds familiar ah? Matches my previous blog title.. well, nothing has been changed except the first word since my blog was born. Anyway, I am not up for another blah blah.. During my last visit I had taken some pics of flowers that bloom everyday in our garden. I don't know most of the 'english' names.. In case you know, please help me out...  I like flowers... don't get me wrong, not in that sense (as in girls!). I love decorating our pooja room, god idols and photos with flowers. I love them coz of their color and the pattern. They are so vibrant, soft and colorful. Here we go...  I know they (as in pohotos) could have been even better. But let me tell you, they are more beautiful than how they look here.  #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8 My personal favorite is #2 & #6, what about you?? let me know :)  Cheers!!

Random Thoughts!

Image
Time for another random post. Oh boy! It has been over a month since I posted something here. Things have been changing both in office and at home. Weekends have become more of a relaxation time which now mean - locking myself inside the house, just lying   around, eat junk food, watch TV and prove that I-can-become-more-lazier-than-this!! However, had been to Udupi twice in span of two weeks to attend weddings. So I can say that the travel – ate most of my leisure time. Highlight of Feb – the valentine’s day – as in 14 th Feb wasn’t exactly the way I wanted it to be. Or I can say, the way ‘we’ wanted it to be. I was traveling home that night to attend my friend’s marriage the next day. And since I was returning back the very next day my wife opted out from the traveling. All in all, it was bad not just because we were not spending time together. Anyway, as I’ve always said – it should not be the only day to express love and is not meant only for lovers & couples. Probably it...

The Secret, in her diary... (Last part)

Image
Contd from part1 , part2 (Sam read the lines again and again. He tried to recall the times they spent together... From what was written in her diary he started realizing that it was him, with whom Riya was in love with. It was about him she had written in her diary. He was numb & left heartbroken.) Oh dear god! I can’t believe this… I am really sorry Riya. I could never read your feelings. Now that I know, I will never be able to see you again! I shouldn’t have read the whole thing in the first place…. (He then leaned down, resting his head on the table… He felt as if the tears coming out straight from his heart, which refused to stop…)   … ... (After some time, Sam raised his head. The first thing he could see on his table was some kind of a reflection from the glass of a photo frame. He felt as if someone is  starring at him from behind. It was very late, almost 2’o clock midnight. This made him a bit more conscious. He turned back at once only to find the curtains ...

"..will wait for you, oh my dear.."

Prologue: I wrote this poem initially, before writing ' you-can't-just-walk-away '. For some reason, I decided not to publish it as it is. So modified the whole subject and changed most of the lines.. Anyway I have finally made up my mind to publish this... I know that it's a very strong subject and I never meant to hurt anyone. I know that I can never feel the real feelings of a woman expressed in this poem. I just want to say - Yes, life is unfair at times, but most of the times it does gives us back what we have lost... With that positive note, now you can proceed...   It was that day when I came to know, my face turned pink with some unusual glow… The day that made me feel so special, the nature around started some lovely carol… Yes, I was carrying someone within me, it didn’t really matter it was he or she… All I knew that our lives will change, maybe it already has, which isn’t strange… I was eagerly waiting for the arrival , as we prepared to welcome our angel… ...
