Through the eyes of Sunil

Have you ever had a wild, strange dream? I am not talking about those which you see or visualize with your eyes wide open. Or when you are practically awake.   I am talking about those which gets premiered inside your brain when you are into deep sleep. They say, even when we are asleep, sub conscious mind keeps working. I don’t want to get into the technicality as to how do we actually get such interesting or sometime scary or even ridiculous dreams that may or may not make any sense! But even then, I am amazed by the sheer power of our mind – which writes its own script, screenplay, uses the real life characters and sometimes even adds its own specimen’s with wonderful / scary background which can be existing or derived from what is present.    At times, I feel that our subconscious mind is a civil engineer. You see it can capture the places that we have visited, stores the design of buildings or monuments that we have seen in real or TV. And then while we are asleep ...

Hello my lovely readers! Let me introduce you to my dream girl today. Alas! You may be wondering what the heck I am talking about! Most of you know that I am a gaming freak. There is one another thing that fascinates me a lot and that is animated movies/animation. When I say animation, it need not be the mixture of real life characters plus the animated ones, it can also be pure animation like cartoons. Though some grownups say – these are for kids, I would say there is no age-bar to watch & enjoy these creative master-pieces. There is a lot of difference between the cartoons (what we get in cartoon network) and the animated movies. Only those who can visualize the difference, would understand what I am talking about here. What is so special about these unreal, impractical stuffs? It’s the imagination of creator, the ability to think beyond reality and display them on screen with rich, fancy color and characters that take you through a whole lot of wonderful fantasy world… Truly amazing. If you ask me, I would say one of the biggest gift god has given to humans – is the ability to dream or the power of imagination. I am not talking about the dreams which we see unknowingly while we are deeply into sleep. Yes, it has its own significance and are actually built on what we seek or desire (most of the time). I am talking about the ones which you aspire even when your eyes wide open. It need not be just about what you want to become or how you like your future to be. The way we see things differently, the way we imagine the huge world around us – fascinates me. When compared to the world or universe, our mind is such a small thing… yet very powerful. Its power of imagination, the way it captures, portrays, modifies things in so many different ways to make you enter into your own fantasy world – is truly mesmer...
