My New Lappy... Lenovo G550

Image
Wow, wow, wow... Finally, the day I was waiting for, has finally arrived. Guess from where and with what I am writing this post..? My new Lenovo G550 series 2958G8Q laptop... Ah, it’s awesome. You can call it love at first site. About one month ago, when the arrears came (to my account from the company) I had planned, yes this is the time I shall go for a lappy... I sold my 5yrs old (in case of computers, that’s pretty old) desktop. Then, I started searching for a lappy over the net. At first acer looked pretty good. But then something else struck me. One of my colleagues had bought a camera from US. One fine day it went bad and he had to struggle so much to get it repaired. So, first thing first, I looked for better service. And I found Lenovo to suit all my expectations...   That day, I saw this add on one of the local newspaper. The very fact that one of the model comes with genuine win7 fascinated me. I called the dealer and visited the show room. As all business men he introdu...

To someone special...

It started long back, a sweet feeling inside... Which wasn’t so clear, but now it is. Oh! I’m so glad… We knew each other, so well and so near… Even in the silence, we could read our minds for real… I gave you some clues, through which you read my mind… You gave back some clues, but I couldn’t actually find… We didn’t meet so often, except a couple of times… But, it was very special, memorable for whole lifetime… I realized how important you are, to me… My life would be null and useless without thee…. I fell into your words, to those sparkling eyes… to your wonderful character and those lovely smiles… I decided not to tell my feelings, rather make you realize… You knew all my tricks, but wanted it to be a surprise… Then came that magical moment, which god had designed… We both started exchanging the state of our minds… My heart stopped, during that split seconds of gap.. And then… And then I was on cloud 9… … World looked so beautiful and changed t...

"Incomplete" - Ramanath memories...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obJvM7ocaRM 25th Aug 09, it was my 24th birthday. Like every year, all my friends wished through calls, msg’s or e-mails. There was one person missing with whom though I had little contacts after the college, he never forgot to wish me. However, it didn’t bother me much as in this busy life even I had forgotten my friend’s birthdays. But when I came to know about the reality from my other friend Kitta, I was shocked!! He was in a horrible state since 1 week then, and I came to know about it on my birthday. Yeah, I wouldn’t have been able do anything if I had come to know about the fact… From the initial conversation, I came to know that he was suffering from some sort of fever and doctors were not able to figure out the actual problem. It had been one week since he was admitted to one of the famous hospitals in banglore. His condition was so bad that he was living with the help of four artificial machineries as support to his living organs like lungs, k...

Sisters - beautiful gift of God. (Part 3)

Click here to read the second part... Though I did not have any direct sisters, god gifted me so many. I experienced how it feels like younger/elder brother to a sister. But one way or the other I couldn’t keep it. One left the world; other three are busy with their own life or I didn’t keep in touch with… I got the same love from all of them, for which I am truly grateful. After I joined Robosoft, I met Shree akka. Another gift of god… Some people make friends where ever they go. It is quite interesting but along with friends I made lot of sisters throughout :) You see, I am kind of emotional person. If someone shows even a little bit of care or love towards me, I get attracted and soon become close to them. May be that’s the reason. (It doesn’t mean every single gal I come across in my life, I make them my sister :P ;) it depends…) And about shree akka, well she is such a sweet heart, who is so caring that I am truly blessed to have her in my life. I am not sure if I had a real si...

Sisters - beautiful gift of God. (Part 2)

Click here to read first part... Some people said she died of astama and some said due to adverse effect of the injection that was given to her the other day. I was badly hurt but then as time flew by, everything was forgotten. Everyone became busy in their own world. On my Upanayana – her absence stuck me again, when I saw her family who attended the occasion. Her daughter gave me sweets (which is some sort of ritual in Upanayana where your sister/cousin feed sweets and in return you have to give them some gift). It might sound strange but at some point that day, I felt her presence around me which is certainly not more than my illusion. Human mind is quiet amazing. We forget our miseries and move on. Yeah, in some cases people take time but they do move on. Like my brother-in-law, who married again two years later… And since then I never visited their house. I wasn’t close to my other cousins until that time. I spent the next summer holidays in my uncle’s place in Kemtoor, who i...

Sisters - beautiful gift of God.

“…A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life” How true he is the one who quoted this... I always wanted to have a sister since my childhood – that doesn’t mean I do not have a sibling. I have got a younger brother and he is good to me, but sisters are something special. You see if someone asks you which is sweeter among sugar and honey. It is difficult to answer isn’t it… It’s the same with brothers and sisters. They have their own sweetness. My dad had a sister - Udayakka. She was the youngest of all in our house until I was born. I took her position and eventually, I had got loads of love from all my family members. She wasn’t jealous about that at all as my mom recalls; she used to take care of me a lot. I don’t remember most of the things of my early childhood, but yeah I loved her company. She was so sweet and caring. When I had first joined school i.e. for kinder garden (we call it balavadi) for the first one month, Udaya...

It can't get better than this!!

(My first poem… Copy rights reserved ;) ) I met a gal during those days of my college… Soon we became close without our knowledge… Days, weeks passed and then the months… Our friendship grew and so the story begins... I realized then I am having a crush… But my heart said - don’t be in a rush… Meanwhile, college was over I felt really sad… Coz, we can’t meet so often, that’s too bad… We promised each other, to be in touch… This made me smile - even in a moment as such… We kept our promise as the time flew by… Through calls, chats, mails - and the meetings nearby… My mind said 'no' and my heart said 'yes'… She is the one, but I couldn’t confess… Yes, I am in love and she’s my princess but, am I her prince? I was clueless... And then arrived the big day of my life… I told her my feelings “will you be my wife”? She didn’t say yes, nor did she refuse… She was surprised - and, I was confused… And then she agreed, with her lovely cheeky smile… I was so...
